Qcentris and A1 extend their partnership for a further 3 years

Since 2012, Qcentris has been a reliable partner in the area of software testing to A1, the largest telecommunications provider in Austria. From this time, the partnership has been growing steadily and the cooperation has now been further cemented with an extension of the contract until the end of 2021.

“As Austria’s leading telecommunications provider, we naturally place very high quality requirements on our products. This is why we at A1 continue to count on the broad expertise and the attractive onshore/offshore model of our Qcentris partners,” said Michael Udulutsch, Head of IT Delivery Control, A1.

At the end of 2018, 80 Qcentris consultants, located at hubs in Vienna, Graz, Görlitz and Cairo, supported the A1 quality assurance management team throughout numerous projects and in other fields of activity. The Qcentris experts in the areas of test management, test automation and manual testing not only assure the quality of the most important business processes in the business and household sectors of A1, but also that of mobile applications and websites across all testing levels.

In order to continue offering quality management provisions, Qcentris and A1 will combine to invest in innovative projects in the coming year. “We are very happy to be able to support A1 in an advisory capacity with regard to agile transition and digitalisation,” said Peter Weber, COO, Qcentris. “We see increased demand in the market, especially in the areas of test automation and service virtualisation. With our own mobile testing framework, which is currently being pilot tested by A1, we can also offer an innovative solution for the test automation of mobile applications,” further commented Peter Weber.

“We want to support our customers sustainably with optimised, efficient and effective services. We have been living this philosophy for many years, with our partner A1, and are delighted with the extension and intensification of the cooperation,” said Reto Züst, CEO, Qcentris.
